Last week, executive chef of Four Season's YEW seafood + bar and Chefs for Oceans founder Ned Bell stopped by the Vancouver Aquarium in support of Bell's forthcoming fundraising initiative for the Vancouver Aquarium's Ocean Wise program, SeaChoice, and the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society.
The ambitious chef will be cycling across Canada in hopes to raise awareness around sustainable practices that aim to provide every Canadian to have access to sustainable seafood for themselves and their families, within the next 10 years.
To kick off his cross-Canada cycle trip, Chef Bell, along with a few Ocean Wise chefs, teamed up with students and competed to create the best healthy smoothie creations. It wasn't that simple, though; the students had to power their blenders through peddling. Take a look at some photos from the event below.
