On Sunday, April 19, The Vancouver Sun held their 31st annual Sun Run.
The 10-kilometre run took 40,000 people—Vancouverites and those visiting alike—all around downtown Vancouver, across two bridges, down two beaches, and some daunting hills.
The Urban Cultivator team decided that this was the year that we made our foray into the competitive world of professional racing.
Just kidding, no professional racing for us.
But we did come together and run the full 10km. The scenic route was enhanced by the incredible weather (we really lucked out!), and brought the team together.
We had a lot of fun, and though our times for this year were pretty impressive, we plan on breaking our own personal records next year.
Watch out, Sun Runners: here comes Team UC!
