Growing Mustard Greens Indoors
Mustard is an easy to grow green with a bite. This is the same plant that yields spicy seeds for the condiment. It is high in vitamins A and C, iron, and beta-carotene. This biennial is also known as "mustard spinach" and "leaf mustard." Mustard micros are known to be milder than others while Red Mustard is colorful as well as spicy.
Harvest by picking the outer leaves and this will allow the whole plant to grow. Do not use the wilted or yellow leaves. Mustard can taste strongly during hot weather.
