See What Went Down at the Adera and Urban Cultivator Media Event

Earlier this week, Adera and Urban Cultivator held a media event at Adera’s exciting new development, The Shore, located on the edge of North Vancouver. At this #IndoorLunchGarden, former Fairmont Pacific Rim Executive Chef, Chef Darren Brown served up an incredible meal for attendees that featured greens grown from an Urban Cultivator unit.

Hosted inside one of The Shore’s stunning presentation suites, the Residential Cultivator was built right into the kitchen island, where Chef Darren Brown would harvest what he needed moments before plating and serving.

Chef Brown crafted four delicious dishes, and even rolled out his own ravioli dough. Included in the menu were: tomato, basil and burrata with nasturtium; chilled cauliflower soup with kale and komatsuna pesto; duck confit and roasted butternut squash ravioli with sunflower sprouts and pea tendrils; and brown sugar, basil, and ginger creme brûlée.

Adera also enlisted some adorable BC SPCA models, who had their photos taken and signs made of them, in support of Adera Cares. Adera Cares is a program that aims to showcase the awesome little pups who are up for adoption at the West Vancouver SPCA. Thanks to Adera bringing awareness to these furry friends, they all now have homes.
